  • 0

Email forwarders and auto responders help you stay connected and manage communication more efficiently.
With Fast Host Nig, you can easily set them up through your cPanel.

???? Step 1: Log in to Your cPanel

  1. Go to www.fasthost.com.ng.

  2. Click Client Area → Login → Access cPanel.

  3. Scroll down to the Email section.

???? Part 1: Setting Up an Email Forwarder

Email forwarders automatically send copies of incoming messages from one email address to another — perfect for team sharing or redirecting messages.

✅ Example:

You can forward all emails from info@yourdomain.com to yourname@gmail.com or support@yourdomain.com.

Steps:

  1. In cPanel, click Forwarders under the Email section.

  2. Click Add Forwarder.

  3. Enter the address to forward (e.g., info@yourdomain.com).

  4. In Destination, enter the email you want messages to go to (e.g., yourname@gmail.com).

  5. Click Add Forwarder.

That’s it — all incoming emails will now be copied to your chosen address.

???? Tip: You can set multiple forwarders if you want messages to reach several team members.

???? Part 2: Setting Up an Auto Responder

An auto responder automatically replies to emails — great for “out of office” messages or instant replies confirming receipt.

Steps:

  1. Go to cPanel → Email → Autoresponders.

  2. Click Add Autoresponder.

  3. Fill out the details:

    • Character Set: Leave as UTF-8

    • Interval: Set the number of hours before a sender receives another auto-reply

    • Email: The address to auto-respond from

    • From Name: Your name or company name (e.g., Fast Host Nig Support)

    • Subject: e.g., Thanks for Contacting Fast Host Nig!

    • Body Message:

Hello, Thank you for contacting Fast Host Nig. We’ve received your message and will get back to you shortly. Regards, Fast Host Nig Team [www.fasthost.com.ng](https://fasthost.com.ng)
  4. Click Create/Modify to save.

✅ Your auto responder is now active!

???? Step 3: Manage or Delete

You can return anytime to Forwarders or Autoresponders to:

  • Edit or delete settings

  • Create new ones for different accounts

That’s It!

You’ve successfully set up Email Forwarders and Auto Responders in your Fast Host Nig account.
Now you can manage emails more efficiently — even when you’re away.
