???? How to Manage Multiple Websites
If you own more than one domain, you can easily host and manage all your websites under a single Fast Host Nig hosting account. This saves time and money while keeping everything organized in one place.
???? Step 1: Log in to Your cPanel
-
Go to www.fasthost.com.ng.
-
Click Client Area → Login.
-
Access your hosting plan, then click Login to cPanel.
???? Step 2: Add a New Domain
-
In cPanel, scroll to the Domains section.
-
Click Addon Domains (or Domains if using the new cPanel layout).
-
Enter your new domain name (e.g.,
secondwebsite.com). -
Choose a Document Root folder — this is where the new site’s files will be stored (e.g.,
/public_html/secondwebsite). -
Click Add Domain.
✅ Your new domain is now added and ready to use.
???? Step 3: Upload Website Files
-
Open File Manager in cPanel.
-
Go to the folder you set as the document root for your new domain.
-
Upload your website files into that folder.
Each domain has its own folder, so your files remain separate and organized.
???? Step 4: Create a Database (If Needed)
If your new website uses a CMS like WordPress, you’ll need a separate database:
-
Go to MySQL® Databases.
-
Create a new database and user.
-
Assign the user to the database with All Privileges.
-
Use these details during installation.
???? Step 5: Manage Subdomains and Redirects
You can also:
-
Add Subdomains (e.g.,
blog.yourdomain.com). -
Set Redirects to send visitors from one domain to another.
-
Manage DNS records for each domain under Zone Editor.
???? Step 6: Check Your Sites
Visit each domain in your browser:
-
yourdomain.com→ loads your main site -
secondwebsite.com→ loads your addon site
If DNS isn’t set up yet, point your domains to:
and allow up to 24 hours for propagation.
