???? How to Create and Manage FTP Accounts
FTP (File Transfer Protocol) lets you upload, download, and manage your website files using external software like FileZilla. With Fast Host Nig, you can easily create and control FTP accounts through cPanel.
???? Step 1: Log in to Your cPanel
Go to www.fasthost.com.ng → Client Area → Services → My Hosting Accounts → Login to cPanel.
???? Step 2: Open FTP Accounts
Scroll to the Files section and click FTP Accounts.
???? Step 3: Create a New FTP Account

Enter a username (e.g.,
developer). -
Choose your domain name.

Enter and confirm a strong password.

In the Directory field, set which folder the user can access.

Example:
/public_html/gives access to the main site.

Click Create FTP Account.
???? Tip: Give limited directory access if you want to share FTP with others safely.
???? Step 4: Configure Your FTP Client (e.g., FileZilla)
Open your FTP client and enter:

Username: the full FTP username (e.g.,

Password: your FTP password

Click Quickconnect to access your hosting files.
